Ken Norris won 2,254 votes to represent DMEA's South Region, beating out incumbent Jock Fleming (1,280 votes) and Joseph Simo (1,200).
Jacob Gray, another incumbent, will also retain his seat for District 3 after handily defeating Demitri Stelter and Gary Hubbell (3,362 to Stelter's 409 and Hubbel's 1,031).

Emily Sanchez, with 3,107 votes also retained her seat in District 4, defeating Robert Hubbard (1,215) and Shelley Kelley (356).
DMEA’s board of directors is made up of nine members. The board is tasked with hiring a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to carry out the objectives of the board.

An election is held each year to determine representatives for three of DMEA’s nine board districts.
The election results were announced Thursday at DMEA's annual meeting.
