Homebrewers to hold second St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Brewfest

After a successful debut last year, the Montrose St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Brewfest is returning for its second annual celebration, bringing a mix of community spirit, local craft beverages, and live music to downtown Montrose on Saturday, March 16.

The event will follow the same format as last year, kicking off with a non-motorized parade at noon. Before the parade, Mosaic Community Bike Shop will host a bike decorating party at 11 a.m., encouraging participants to deck out their rides in green for the festivities.

Following the parade, the brewfest will take place in front of Horsefly Brewing Company, featuring a selection of craft beers and ciders. Tickets are available for $35 at the gate and $30 presale through Black Canyon Tickets. Parade participants can also purchase tickets for $30. Admission for non-drinkers and attendees ages 18-20 is $20, while kids under 18 can attend for free.

Live music will be provided by The Black Canyon Boys, a local band bringing an energetic soundtrack to the festivities. To ensure a comfortable experience, heaters will be available in case of chilly weather.

In addition to beer and cider tastings, the event will introduce activities for kids this year, making it an event for all ages. The celebration will also support Montrose Area Bicycle Alliance and Second Chance Humane Society, with Second Chance featuring adoptable dogs in the parade and at the festival for attendees to meet.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair, dress in green, and enjoy a day of community fun.

For more details and ticket purchases, visit Black Canyon Tickets.
