Wow, what an incredible achievement for 99-year-old Betty Hayes to receive the coveted Woman of the Year award. Betty Haves, a local Rosie the Riveter’s inspiring story truly showcases that age is just a number when it comes to making a significant impact.

On March 8 at the Annual Women of Distinction Awards event, Betty Hayes was selected as the 2024 Woman of the Year by past and present Women of Distinction award winners.

Betty Hayes’ dedication and contributions to her community are nothing short of remarkable. Her unwavering commitment to serving her country, serving local Veterans, and making a difference deserves all the recognition she has received.
