Ladybird, a new bakery and coffee shop in Colona, officially opened March 8.
The building at 22 Hotchkiss Avenue, which formerly housed another coffee shop, was recently renovated by Heather Crane, a Montrose resident who purchased the 750 square-foot building and plot of land. (Crane is also the owner of local catering company Pine Cone Catering.)
Ladybird now serves delicious breads, pastries, sandwiches, cakes, breakfast burritos, coffee and more.
The baked goods are baked fresh, daily.
Earlier this week, the business was bustling with passers-through and those who live and work in the area.
The renovations include a nice coat of pink paint accenting the building both inside and out.
The business includes a drive-thru as well as outdoor patio seating.
They are open 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
