The Greater Montrose Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2020 when local entrepreneur and business owner, Tonya Maddox, gathered a dozen of engaged business leaders to discuss the need for Montrose County businesses to have a collective voice and advocacy after the 130+year old Montrose Cha mber of Com merce was dissolved in 2018.
